This POW/MIA double sided flag is well constructed. However, I have two (2) issues that I did not notice prior to purchasing this flag from this company which was my error but need to be shared:
1) When I bought this, the description stated 210 Denier Polyester (black/white)
despite the black silhouette being pictured on a gray background and gray lettering. The description, after I called to return it, was changed to white on gray.
However, the POW/MIA flag was originally designed with the silhouette to be on a "WHITE" circular background and with "WHITE" lettering. This flag with the gray is a departure from that original design for whatever reason since its design, much like the U.S. Flag, is public domain and has no patents and such to control those who copy it.
The other thing to be noted it that the material used in this flag, 210 Denier Polyester, has a different (shinier sheen and texture) than other 2-ply spun polyesters used by Annin & Co. So this may not match other polyester flags when flown together as I do. Annin Flag Manufacturer is 160 years old with their roots to 1820; their history of where their flags have been flown is worth the internet search from being draped over Lincolns casket to being left on the moon and are of the highest quality. At $30, these are made in China. I wish that ArmedForcesGear would sell "American Made" when available.
2) Pay close attention to ArmedForcesGear.com return policy, its not Amazon. If you buy something and do not like it or there is an issue with unit not being as you expected, if you try to return it, be advised you are on the hook for both the purchase and return shipping. Any refund is just the purchase price and tax. In my case, returning it isn’t even worth it and I won’t sell or donate an incorrect flag. I ate this one...
